This course has been approved by the Vermont Real Estate Commission as the Mandatory Course for 2010-2012 License Renewal for 4 continuing education clock hours.

This course will include the following:

  • Basic RESPA provisions and their applicability to real estate agents
  • Identification and review of certain situations which may give rise to unprofessional conduct within the meaning of applicable disciplinary provisions
  • A forum for discussion of proper agent conduct through use of hypothetical examples

  • Registering your brokerage firm

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Tom Heilman is a graduate of the College of Holy Cross where he was a starting member of the varsity football team. After from Holy Cross, Tom received his law degree from Villanova University

Tom entered private practice in Vermont in 1974. His litigation practice concentrates on civil litigation matters including commercial disputes. He has an active real estate and commercial transactions practice and represents the Vermont Association of REALTORS®, the Northwestern Vermont Board of REALTORS® and various other REALTOR® boards, as well as a number of real estate brokerage firms.
